My Interest Rate Watch List

One of my fortes in my business is that I’m constantly monitoring the market and interest rate trends – always daily and often hourly. If you’re ever curious where they’re headed or WHY they’re headed that way, I’d be happy to talk to you about it. If you’re a current homeowner and you’re in an ARM or even a fixed rate, I’d like to extend an offer to you: join my “watch list.”

My watch list is a detailed spreadsheet of the people I’m looking at particular interest rates and loan products for, so that should rates go down, or should the fixed portion of an ARM be coming to an end soon, I let them know what refinancing would look like and if it makes sense.

All of my existing clients are automatically on this watch list and many potential ones have joined. The benefit is that these people don’t need to worry about how the market is trending or when the time is right for them to refinance. If it does potentially make sense, they get a call from me.

If you’re curious where rates are at for your particular situation and if you want that call when the time is right, please contact me directly and I would be happy to put you on my watch list. I do not solicit nor bombard people with information, so know that I respect your needs and that your information will be kept private and discrete.

  1. I’d like to get on your “Watch List” to possibly refinance our 1st mortgage so that we can:
    1) get away from IndyMac Fed Bank
    2) get with another bank that will also give us a HELOC of $25K (since IndyMac is closing our existing HELOC with no balance due). We have the HELOC in case of house emergencies primarily (lower interest rate than our consumer cc).

Our current 1st is a 30-yr fixed with a loan balance of $143K at 6.375%. It includes an escrow account for our property taxes and our monthly pmt is $1165. I’d like to get a similar (or better!) deal with another bank.

Could you help my husband and I refinance?

    Thanks!

  2. I’m so glad to be able to help you out, Tracy! Thanks so much for contacting me.
    Best,
    Irene
